Angela Marie de Pietro shares two extraordinary near-death experiences that completely changed the way she understands life, death, consciousness and why we are here. During a difficult period of alcohol dependence, Angela attempted to stop drinking and says she unexpectedly crossed into another state of existence. During her first NDE, she encountered her deceased grandmother, enormous luminous beings and a reality that felt more expansive than ordinary physical life. But Angela didn't immediately change course. During a second attempt to stop drinking, Angela says she died in her sleep and found herself reunited with a deceased close friend. As the experience deepened, she describes becoming one with everything before encountering a luminous being whose face appeared to contain every face that had ever existed. Angela asked one question: “Are you God?” The answer she received was simple: “Yes.” When Angela realized she believed she had completely crossed over, she made an unexpected request. She wanted to come back. “I’m not done.” Angela describes what happened next, her difficult return to her body, the physical condition she awoke in, and the events that eventually forced her to confront her addiction and completely change the direction of her life.
